BEREA — The 32nd annual Berea Craft Festival is happening Friday through Sunday at the Indian Fort Theater.

Kerri Hensley, assistant director of the Berea Tourism Department, said the festival will include more than 100 art exhibitors showing their crafts. Several artists, such as Craig Wilson, Lisa Brangers, Sandra Byrne and Joe Engel, will have stations set up demonstrating the process they use to create their art.

“Several different types of artists will be demonstrating daily,” Hensley said.

According to Hensley, the festival also will include “a variety of regional foods” for sale from vendors.

The festival will also feature live entertainment from musical guests Mitch Barrett, The Peach Pie Jazz Band, Heath Eric and Molly and Emory Joseph. The Berea Festival Dancers will also perform.

Hensley said there will be signs from both Interstate 75 exits in Berea that visitors can follow leading them to the Theater where the festival will be taking place.

This year is the last time Lila Bellando, who has been organizing the festival privately since it was founded, will be in charge before retiring from her position as organizer. As of 2014, the city of Berea will be taking over organization of the event.

The festival hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors. Children 12 and under are free.
