Employee charged with stealing from McDonald’s

RICHMOND — Police charged Jonathan A. Fish, 18, South Robbins Court, on Thursday in connection with the theft of money from his employer.

An officer was dispatched to McDonald’s restaurant, 864 Eastern Bypass, at 3:53 p.m. regarding a theft complaint. The officer was told that during the past two weeks Fish had pilfered approximately $600 from cash registers at the restaurant, according to the RPD report

Fish was charged for theft by unlawful taking ($500 to $10,000).



Burglary reported on Turpin Drive

A resident in the 400 block of Turpin Drive reported Sunday that her apartment had been unlawfully entered during the early evening and a number of items were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry. Reported missing were: an Element 23-inch HD television, a Philips Blu Ray DVD player and a Better Homes zebra print blanket. Estimated loss: $145.
