Three Richmond thefts reported Tuesday-Thursday

RICHMOND — Richmond police are investigating thefts reported from Tuesday through Thursday.

An employee of Baptist Health, Eastern Bypass, reported Thursday that her vehicle had been broken into during the evening and a small shoulder purse was stolen. The purse contained several debit/credit cards, $70 in cash, and a Pantech slider cellular telephone. Estimated loss: $595.

Tuesday

A resident in the 100 block of East Walnut Street reported that a white iPhone 4S and a silver-and-blue Mongoose mountain bicycle had been stolen from his residence during the night. The victim reported that after a visitor to the residence left in the early morning, it was discovered that the phone and the bicycle were missing. The suspect was described as a white male, mid-20s, approximately 6 feet tall and 215 pounds, who went by the name of “Scooter.” Estimated loss: $750.

A complainant reported that five rolls of electrical wiring were stolen from the toolbox of his truck while it was parked at Kroger during midday. Stolen items include: two 250-foot rolls of yellow 12/2 wiring; two 250-foot rolls of yellow 14/3 wiring; and one 250-foot roll of white 14/2 wiring. A white male in a black vehicle was observed removing the items. Estimated loss: $565.
