Two dead after Irvine Road collision

RICHMOND — Richmond Police worked until 5 a.m. Thursday reconstructing the scene of an Irvine Road accident that claimed the lives of two people Wednesday night.

According to County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison, Kimberly Holt, 50, of Drowning Creek Road, Waco, and Jane Carol French, 64, of Jessica Circle, were involved in a head-on collision about 9:30 p.m. Holt was pronounced dead at the scene. French was transported to UK hospital, where she died after arrival.

According to an RPD news release, the vehicle driven by Holt crossed the center lane going eastbound and struck the vehicle French was driving. Both victims were wearing seat belts, and no were no passengers in either vehicle, the release stated.
