RICHMOND — Several braved the wind and chilly fall temperatures Saturday afternoon to get a “taste of Richmond” at the first fall festival event at Richmond Centre. Participants redeemed $1 tickets for food samples at booths set up by various local restaurants and food vendors. Children in Halloween costumes stayed warm by playing around the grassy fountain area, while the grown-ups were bundled up, sipping warm beverages. Many people brought their dressed-up canines to the event to participate in the dog Halloween costume contest. The Bent Penny Band provided musical entertainment.
