Burglars go after tools, guns electronics

Richmond police reports

RICHMOND — The following thefts and burglaries were reported Wednesday:

• A resident in the 100 block of Spurlin Mobile Home Park reported that a storage building behind his home had been broken into during the night and several tools were stolen. Entry was gained by prying loose the hasp. The following items were reported missing: an Ace Hardware 10-inch chop saw, gray and red in color; a Milwaukee band saw in a red case; and a RotoZip saw with a tool bag and extra blades. Estimated loss is $850.

• A resident in the 1100 block of Richmond Green Drive reported that an in-dash Dual AM/FM CD player and $10 in change had been stolen from his vehicle during the night. There were no signs of forced entry. Estimated loss is $20.

• A resident in the 100 block of Mallory Court reported that several items had been stolen from his parked vehicle the previous day. There were no signs of forced entry. Reported missing were: a Beretta 9mm pistol, PX4 Storm model; a brown Carhartt jacket; and a Blackhawk book bag containing a World Religion textbook. Estimated loss is $780.
