Nine indicted by Madison grand jury

RICHMOND — A Madison grand jury indicted nine people last week on the following charges:

• Roy Dale Richardson, first-degree fleeing or evading police, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree persistent felony offender.

• Stephon Miller (aka Stephon Farris), tampering with physical evidence, second-degree fleeing and evading police, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and second-degree persistent felony offender.

• Anthony Lee Crutcher, failure to comply with sex-offender registration.

• Timothy Wayne Coffey, failure to comply with sex-offender registration, subsequent offense, and first-degree persistent felony offender. He has been convicted three times previously for failing to register, the indictment stated.

• Lucy K. Reynolds, trafficking in marijuana (less than 5 pounds), possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (oxycodone).

• Nashon J. Mullins and Ronald Moore, second-degree burglary and first-degree persistent felon offender.

• Lori Neville, theft by unlawful taking (more than $500) and theft by deception

• Brandy N. Mullins, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), second-degree possession of a controlled substance (buprenorphine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Sara Smart, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An indictment is a formal statement of charges and does not imply guilt, only that grand jurors believe the state has enough evidence to prosecute.
