EKU Regents to name president Friday morning

Two days after last candidate's visit

RICHMOND — The Eastern Kentucky Board of Regents will convene 10 a.m. Friday to name the university's next president.

The meeting was announced Thursday morning by EKU spokesperson Marc Whitt.

It will take place in Room 549 of the Charles D. Whitlock Student Success Building.

The meeting will begin with an executive session, after which, the board will name the university's 12th president, according to the agenda released by Virginia Underwood, assistant secretary to the board.

On Tuesday, the last of three finalists for the position made a campus visit.
