Stars shine at Waco Elementary Friday

WACO — Of the 45 acts that auditioned, only 14 numbers made the cut for Waco Elementary’s annual talent show.

Music teacher Courtney Schuette and the related arts staff opened auditions to all fourth- and fifth-grade students.

The show boasted a wide range of talents including singing, dancing, rapping, guitar-playing and yo-yo tricks.

For the final number (and for the loudest applause), eight of the Waco teachers surprised the students with their own rendition of “Gangnam Style” dressed head-to-toe as characters of the show Duck Dynasty.
