Musicians

MADISON COUNTY — Musicians from all across the county gathered Sunday afternoon to perform at the first-ever Madison County Community Christmas Concert at the EKU Center for the Arts.

Several choirs, soloists and instrumentalist performed to showcase the talent of the community, Berea College and Eastern Kentucky University, said Rev. Howard Miller, of Richmond, and one of the event's coordinators.

“This is hopefully the start of a something great for Madison County — to let the rest of the state know ‘this is ours,’” said Miller, who plans to conduct the event every year.
