Methodist Church will host Holy Week services

RICHMOND — Beginning Monday, the First United Methodist Church will host the midday Holy Week services sponsored by the Richmond Area Ministerial Association.

A different minister and special music is planned for each day, according to the Rev. Mitch Brown.

After each 30-minute worship service, attendees may enjoy a light lunch served in the church’s fellowship hall.

On Monday, the Rev. Dr. Rusty Rechenbach will speak with music provided by Northridge Church.

The Tuesday speaker will be Minister Mary Lou Stephens with music by Virgil Gardner.

Wednesday’s speaker will be the Rev. Mitch Brown with music by Tim Wilson.

On Thursday, the Rev. Bruce Nettleton of the host church will speak with music by Ken Southgate.

The Rev. Robert Blythe of First Baptist Church, Francis Street, will speak and his church’s choir will provide the music.
