Walk in Jimmy’s Shoes

Donation drive brings in 100 pairs of new shoes, $600

RICHMOND — Madison County Schools received more than 100 pairs of new shoes and $600 in donations for the purchase of new shoes for middle and high school students in the community from the “Walk in Jimmy’s Shoes” shoe drive.

The drive was sponsored by Jack Burford Chevrolet and Soft Shoe in Richmond.

The school district extends its appreciation to Jack Burford Chevrolet and Soft Shoe for their commitment to our school district and for helping meet the needs of young people in our community, said Erin Stewart, district spokesperson.
