Man indicted for child porn

A 23-year-old man who allegedly possessed child pornography was indicted Thursday for the crime.
Gabriel Quintin Pace, 23, no listed address, is charged with three counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, according to an indictment returned by a Madison County grand jury.
“It was child pornography involving the Internet,” said Richmond Police Sgt. Willard Reardon, public affairs officer for the department. “There were three photographs and subsequently he was charged with three counts. Due to the sensitivity of the case, this is about all I can tell you.”
Pace allegedly was found to be in possession of the photographs on Aug. 3, which depicted “a sexual performance by a minor, with knowledge of its content, character and that the performance was by a minor,” the indictment states.
The charge is a Class D felony, which carries a one- to five-year prison sentence. Pace could face up to 15 years in prison upon conviction.
The grand jury also returned the following indictments:
• Ronald Martin, 44, no listed address, first-degree trafficking in cocaine (second offense), being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, first-degree possession of Oxycodone, being a first-degree persistent felony offender. If convicted, Martin could face up to life in prison. (KSP)
• John Bellfield, 19, Hallie Irvine Street, three counts of first-degree trafficking in cocaine. If convicted, Bellfield could face up to 20 years in prison. (RPD)
• Rickey Abney, 29, Charlie Norris Road, three counts of trafficking in Oxycodone. If convicted, Abney could face up to 20 years in prison. (RPD)
• Randall Campbell, 42, of Powderhorn Drive, Charles Osborne, 28, of Norwood Drive, Sharra Tevis, 30, no listed address. All three are charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument — Campbell with four counts, Tevis with five counts and Osborne with one. Campbell also is charged with being a first-degree persistent felony offender while Tevis is charged with being a second-degree persistent felony offender.
If convicted, Campbell and Tevis each could face up to 20 years in prison and Osborne could serve one to five years. (RPD)
• Silas Brewer, 26, no listed address, June Ann Christian, 32, of Jackson, Loren Ray Allen, 37, no listed address. Christian is charged with three counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument and Brewer is charged with four counts of the same. Allen is charged with second-degree complicity to commit criminal possession of a forged instrument as well as being a second-degree persistent felony offender.
If convicted, Brewer could face up to 20 years in prison, while Christian and Allen could serve up to 15 years. (RPD)
• Lonnie T. Durham, 31, of Chris Drive, first-degree possession of Methadone, third-degree possession of Clonazepam, being a second-degree persistent felony offender. If convicted, Durham could face up to 15 years in prison. (RPD)
• Rachel Bowling, 31, of Moberly Avenue, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at more than $300, being a second-degree persistent felony offender. If convicted, Bowling could serve up to 15 years in prison. (MCSO)
• Christopher P. Adams, 22, of Patsy Lane, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, being a second-degree persistent felony offender. If convicted, Adams could serve up to 15 years in prison. (BPD)
• Brandon Wren, 22, no listed address, theft by failure to make required disposition of property valued at more than $300, being a second-degree persistent felony offender. If convicted, Wren could face up to 15 years in prison.
• Ashige Jaleel, 50, of Ohio, first-degree possession of cocaine, alcohol intoxication, drinking an alcoholic beverage in a public place. If convicted, Jaleel could face one to five years in prison. (RPD)
• Steven W. Abner, 34, of Arthur Jackson Lane, first-degree possession of Oxycodone, third-degree possession of Phentermine and Alprazolam (two counts). If convicted, Abner could serve one to five years in prison. (BPD)
• Melissa Shanks, 30, Charlie Norris Road, three counts of first-degree facilitation to trafficking in Oxycodone. If convicted, Shanks could face up to 12 months in jail.
• Orders of dismissal were returned for Lonnie Durham, Cathy Flenner and Brett McIntosh.
A grand jury indictment is a formal accusation of a crime and does not establish guilt.
