Donnie Martin of Georgetown Monument Company sandblasts Thursday the name of 30th Arkansas Infantry Color Sgt. David P. Setzer onto the Confederate mass grave monument for those killed at the Battle of Richmond. Setzer’s family noticed his name was not on the monument erected in 2002 and notified members of the Battle of Richmond said Phillip Seyfrit, Historic Properties Director of Madison County. “Other names (of fallen Confederate BOR soldiers) may surface because records were so poor,” Seyfrit said. “And they’ll be taken care of on a case-by-case basis.”
