Merry Christmas from Baldwin

Baldwin

BALDWIN — How is everyone’s week going? I hope that everyone is having a great one. There are only 12 days until Christmas. How many of you are ready? Come on, how many of you have your tree up, shopping done and presents wrapped? It seems that Christmas just slipped up on us this year. It seems to me that it was just a month or so ago that we had Christmas. This year has gone by so quickly.

I hope and pray that this Christmas season, with all the hustle and bustle, we don’t forget the real reason for the season. Let us not forget that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born, and that is why we celebrate His birthday on Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season. Jesus was born to save the world, but I am afraid that too many people have forgotten this. This year, let’s all leave Jesus in our Christmas and please continue to have Him in your life the whole year through.

I do love the Christmas decorations at Christmas time. Some of my neighbors have beautiful decorations out. I just love driving by at night and looking at them. One neighbor has from the nativity to the cross out again this year and many other decorations, too. Several people in the Poosey area have beautiful decorations also.

Happy birthday wishes go out next week to, D.J. Wade and Janie Lee West, Sunday; Lilly Barber, Tuesday; and Jennifer Goins, Wednesday. I hope that you all have very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Happy anniversary wishes go out next week to Billy and Debbie Foster, Thursday. I hope that you have a wonderful anniversary and many more happy ones to come.

Devin Foster Farthing will be graduating from EKU Saturday with a degree in Elementary Education. Devin is the daughter of Bill and Debbie Foster of Baldwin. Congratulations Devin and best wishes in the future.

Well, I guess this is all for no. Let me know if you hear any news. Just give me a call at 623-4579 or e-mail at pljones61@netzero.com.
