The 2012 Farm City Banquet was held on Nov. 12 at the Madison County Cooperative Extension Office.
Thanks to all of our award and door-prize sponsors this year. They were: Blue Grass Energy Cooperative, Madison County Conservation District, Berea Chamber of Commerce, Richmond Chamber of Commerce, Madison County Farm Bureau, Madison County Extension Homemakers, Richmond Tourism, Richmond Kiwanis Club, Berea Kiwanis Club, Central KY Ag Credit and Baldwin Farms.
I also would like to give a special thanks to our keynote speaker, Phillip Seyfrit, Madison County Historic Properties director, who spoke about the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Richmond.
