UNION CITY — The Ruritan annual Christmas family dinner will be this Saturday, Dec. 1, at 6:30 p.m Club members and families are invited to attend.

At this meeting, club officers for the coming year are announced and installed.

Ham and turkey will be provided. You may bring a covered dish, such as desserts, vegetables or casserole.

New windows in the Ruritan building have been installed. Almost enough money has been raised to cover the cost. Money above the windows’ need will go toward doors.

The deadline for giving to the Windows Fund will be Jan. 1.

If you wish to donate, contact Robert Murphy at 623-9461 for details.

“His Own” is a gospel music quartet consisting of Phill Cole, Debbie Broaddus, Jessica and Rick Hayes with Sally Childers, pianist.

This group is releasing a new CD with a party and invite you to celebrate with them Saturday, Dec. 8, at Big Hill Christian Church, Goggins Lane, in Richmond.

There will be refreshments at 5 p.m. and a free concert at 6 p.m.

Birthday wishes to Eva Hisle, Sunday, Dana Evans and Sally Childers, Wednesday; and Jon Allen, next Thursday.
