Hi! Snow, snow and a little more snow.
How was your snowy week? What happened to March? This has been one year, hasn’t it?
With the snow coming and going, it seems like the dreaded stomach virus has returned. Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands!
Thank you to all those who participated in the Flatwoods Cemetery spring cleanup. The cemetery looks extra nice and just waiting on the spring weather to eventually arrive and “green” the place up.
Kayla Dargavell was treated to a birthday dinner at Ryan’s last week. She enjoyed the buffett and the cake (with all 22 candles) and especially the singing by the waitresses (right, Kayla)! It was good seeing other Wacoans out and about at Ryan’s as well -- another “hello” (in the paper) to Brillian and Geraldine Cain.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Brandon McIntosh (belatedly), March 16; Lorena Webb and Stevie Saylor, March 18; and Patty Willis, March 31.
Myrtle Lee Pitcher Mason, 83, formerly of Waco, the widow of Evans “Tojo” Mason, passed away Sunday, March 24, at Baptist Health in Richmond. Deepest sympathies are extended to daughter Pamela Lunsford and her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
That’s about it for now. Happy Easter and happy spring break to everyone next week!
Have a joyous Easter Sunday. Don’t forget the sunrise service at 7 a.m. just off Bend Road on Sunday.
