Happy Mother’s Day to all of you mothers out there

Hello from Baldwin,

BALDWIN — How is everyone’s week going? I hope that everyone is having a great one. Well, I hope you like rain, because it seems like we are getting plenty of it lately. I am ready for a little sunshine myself, how about you? But I must say the grass is certainly growing fast and all the flowers and trees are bursting with blooms, I guess because they are getting enough rain.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you Mothers out there. I hope you all have a wonderful day Sunday as your families celebrate with you.

On Saturday afternoon, Nelda Smith (Grannie), Aunt Myra Isbell and Aunt Paula went to see Alysann Smith and her boyfriend, Chris Couch off to the prom. We watched as Alysann got her hair done by her mother, Kellie Rosanbalm. I must say she was beautiful, not that she isn’t beautiful all the time, but this was something special. I hope that she and Chris had a wonderful time.

Happy birthday wishes go out next week to Michael Madden, Tuesday; Wesley Curtis, Wednesday; J.B. Dupuy, Friday; and Stellen Dupuy, Saturday.  I hope that everyone has very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Happy anniversary wishes go out next week to James Paul and Tiffany Smith, Monday; Curt and Brenda Bogie, Thursday; Glenn and Teresa Masters and Rob and Michelle Hayden, Friday; and William and Alice Whitaker, Saturday. I hope that you all have very happy anniversaries and many more happy ones to come.

Mark your calendars, my sisters, Myra Isbell and Nelda Smith and I will be setting our crafts up for sale at the Spring Craft Show at the Kirksville Community Center on Saturday May 18th from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. come on out and see us, there are going to be lots of vendors there.

Well, I guess that’s all for now, so let me know if you hear any news, just give me a call at 623-4579 or e-mail at pljones61@netzero.com.

I love this time of the year because eggs really do go down in price during the Easter season. I have some new recipes on how to fix eggs besides the coloring part.
