Hi! Are you talking “debates” this week?
The pundits on TV sure are!
It’s getting close to that time when the debates will be over, the pundits will have taken their last spin and we’ll know who will be at the head of this fine nation – time sure flies doesn’t it?
I can’t believe we’re right in the middle of fall. The leaves are turning and falling off (and covering porches and sidewalks and roads!)
By the time I sweep them off the porches, there’s that many again right there where I swept.
The leaves are especially vibrant this year, have you noticed?
The red leaves seem to be a brighter red, the orange ones seem more orange, etc. (When they’re still on the trees that is!)
Did you take in one or more nights of the revival at Flatwoods Christian Church?
You may want to check out their website for updated pictures and information on what you missed (or see yourself if you were there.)
Our Waco volunteer firefighters were at Waco Elementary last Friday as part of Fire Prevention Week.
Everyone enjoyed getting to see our first responders up close as well as gaining important information on fire safety and prevention.
Can you believe Sparky the Fire Dog was on hand as well? The students loved that!
Thanks, Waco volunteers, for all you do for our community.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Daphne Smith Hill and Brittany Brown, Oct. 12; Matthew Marcum, Oct. 17; and Andrew Compton, Oct. 23.
Happy anniversary wishes go out to Charles and Louise Rupard, Oct. 17; and David and Nancy Kaylor, Oct. 24.
That’s about it for this week. Have a great one!
Glad you’re home and “on your feet again” George Kaylor; same sentiments to Doug Webb. “Uncle” Leon, thanks to Facebook, we’re keeping up with you.
