BALDWIN — Hello from Baldwin.

How is everyone’s week going?

I hope everyone is having a great one.

According to the calendar and the weatherman, spring started yesterday, but it doesn’t feel much like spring does it?

But with the buttercups blooming and the grass greening up, it looks a little like spring. I even saw somebody mowing their yard over the weekend.

It soon will be time to plow the gardens and get them planted. Can’t wait for the fresh vegetables, how about you?

Happy birthday wishes go out next week to a very dear lady who is a dear friend of mine, Diana Wells Ross, Monday; Rodney Dixon and Emily Jones, Tuesday; Amy Dixon, Thursday; Ronald Burrus, Elena Habets and Brian Thomas Hiten, Friday.

I hope all of you have very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Happy anniversary wishes go out next week to my brother-in-law and sister, Henry and Nelda Smith, Friday. They will be celebrating their 38th anniversary. I hope you have a happy one and many more to come.

I had a wonderful time with friends of mine last Saturday at a birthday party in honor of Miss Riley Cate Reynolds.

Riley was celebrating her third birthday. She was surrounded by her family in the fellowship hall of Salem Christian Church on Saturday afternoon. What a great party it was.

Riley is the daughter of Todd and Crystal Reynolds of Poosey Ridge.

Thanks for including me in the festivities, I had a wonderful time.

Salem Christian Church will be having a pre-Easter revival, Thursday, March 28, and Friday, March 29, beginning at 7 o’clock each night.

Bro. Raymond Tincher will be the evangelist for the revival. The church invites you and welcomes you to worship with them.

Well, I guess that’s all for now. If you hear any news, be sure and let me know. Give me a call at 623-4579 or e-mail me at
