RICHMOND — The February meeting of the Boonesborough chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will feature Battle of Richmond Association representative Ed Ford as speaker. The session on Feb. 11 is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall of First Christian Church, 412 W. Main St., Richmond.

He is editor of The Kentucky Civil War Bugle, an online publication, and is author of “The Draw,” a short novel about the local battle, and “Silent Witness,” a booklet about Gen. Robert E.
