KIRKSVILLE — Hello everyone. It is a busy time in Kirksville.

Friday night will start the weekend off with a concert by Josh Logan at the community center. He will give you plenty of music from 7 to 11 p.m. He has become a regular at the center. After a hard day of work, it is an enjoyable time to relax and hear some good music.

Susie at the Roundhill Store has promised many that she would have a fish fry again. The first one went so well, she has been asked for a repeat. Since the fish fries are so popular, she will be having them more frequently. Stop by Friday night from 4 to 8 p.m.

Kirksville Baptist Church is ready for its presentation of “The Living Lord’s Supper” on the April 27 and 28 at 7 p.m.

They have rehearsed and are excited to present a wonderful program. All the neighboring community churches are encouraged to attend and support K.B.C. They would like to invite everyone to attend. It will be a great night.

The clothing bank will be open April 27 from 9 a.m. to noon. This is the first time for a few months they have been open. They have a wide variety of clothing. Stop by to tell them how much you appreciate the volunteers. Those in need of summer clothing, now is the time to get started.

I cannot believe prom nights have begun. That means graduation is near.

I know there are several young people in our churches who are about to enter college and the work force. I hope and pray that, through the years, we as Christians have been able to show the light of Christ to encourage them in their daily walk with the Lord.

Young people, use good judgment on prom night and be safe in driving. You are our next leaders.
