BALDWIN — Hello from Baldwin, How is everyone’s week going?

I hope everyone is having a great one.

It has been a raining and nesting week so far, but by the time you are reading this, it is suppose to be a much nicer day, but then much cooler, down right COLD!

The rain has knocked so many leaves to the ground, but the trees are beautiful right now. God has brought such beauty and such wonderful color to the leaves this fall. I love to see the leaves in all the colors of green, red, orange, yellow and brown. Beautiful, just beautiful.

Happy belated birthday wishes to the ones I missed last week, Gene Hall, Elizabeth Jones and Hayden Jackman, Tuesday; and Chad Horn, Wednesday. Also, happy birthday wishes tomorrow to Kelsey Portwood. I hope  you all have had or will have happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Happy birthday wishes go out next week to Matthew and Mark Brumbaugh, Monday; Corie Young, Tuesday; Danny Renfro, Thursday; and Kendal Davis and Justin Beck, Saturday. I hope you all have happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Happy anniversary wishes go out next week to Ronald and Amy Burrus, Saturday. I hope you have a very happy anniversary and many more happy ones to come.

Baldwin 4-H Club meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the fellowship hall of Bethel Christian Church. We will be electing officers for the year 2012-2013 tonight and be working on a project. We hope to see you there. We always welcome new children to join the 4-H Club. Come on out and join us.

The Madison County Market is still open at Lowe’s parking lot, 8 a.m. until noon. Lots of fall items are in, especially for all your decorating needs. There are pumpkins, cushaws, gourds, fodder, door wreathes and much more. There still are fresh vegetables available at the market, also.

Otter Creek meat is there with fresh meat, no hormone or no steroids, see Keith Park, he will be able to help you. Beef by the pound, quarter, halves and whole beefs are available by order. Don’t forget the jams, jellies, honey, sourdough bread, and sweet breads. Be sure and stop by and see us this Saturday!

Well, I guess that’s all for now. Let me know if you hear any news. Just give me a call at 623-4579 or e-mail me at
