KIRKSVILLE — Hello everyone. The weather sure has changed, but the beautiful leaves are trying to hang on.

I have enjoyed the leaves, even though it seems to have been only a short time. The cold weather has come on quickly. I am just not ready for it.

I do know a way to warm up. Susie at the Roundhill Store is having a fish fry Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m.

She will be having deep-fried fish, home fries, coleslaw and baked beans, and, of course, some great desserts.

Don't forget, it is Saturday night, not Friday night. But if you do forget, you still can get some great food anyway.

Full Gospel Tabernacle is having Jeff and Sheri Easter in concert this Friday at 7 p.m.

This is a free concert. Everyone is invited. It will be too cold to do anything else.

The Easters are great. You will have the opportunity to sit down with them and talk. They are so personable, friendly and loving.

There will be a chili supper after the singing.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. I know it was cold. I always enjoy the kids. Even as a child, I would rather give out candy than to go trick-or-treating myself.

The Christmas gathering will be at Kirksville Community Center on Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be 50-plus crafts and direct sales vendors. This is their third annual craft and vendor fair.
