Food drive with Friday’s Josh Logan concert

KIRKSVILLE — Hello everyone.

The weather has been so nice. I know colder weather is coming, but it seems to be a time that people are out walking.

The other day I saw something so strange yet so cute. Phyllis and Jordan were walking their little dogs on their leash and following behind was the kitty cat.

It was so funny to see the little dogs pulling their masters around, and then there was the kitty tagging along. I also saw a cat in the subdivision sitting in the grass next to the lake just watching the ducks as they walked by. The cat never moved, it just watched the ducks. What is up with the cats?

This beautiful fall weather has been taking us on a few short Kentucky day trips. We have such a beautiful state. You just have to take time to appreciate it.

Don’t forget the Josh Logan concert and dance Friday night. It is a family event. Admission is $5, and children age 12 and under are free. It all begins at 7 p.m.

Don’t forget the Community Center is incorporating a food drive with the Josh Logan concerts for the next three months, so bring a non-perishable food item for the Full Gospel Tabernacle’s local food bank.

Friday night will be a night of fun as well as an opportunity to help others.

The Christmas gathering at the Center is coming up Nov. 2. Go on Facebook and get registered for the event. This is a great shopping day in Kirksville.
