BALDWIN — Hello from Baldwin. How is everyone’s week going?

I hope everyone is having a great one.

What a beautiful weekend we had, 70 degrees on Sunday, but now cold again. But we got of taste of a spring and I can hardly wait.

Have you noticed the buttercups blooming?

They are beautiful. Spring will come, then summer, then everyone will be complaining because it is too hot.

Happy birthday wishes go out next week to my brother-in-law, Garnett Isbell, Sunday. Garnett will be celebrating the B-I-G 60!

Happy birthday also to: Michael Robbins, Mason Estes, and Donnie Morris, Monday; Stephanie Darnell, Tuesday; Erica Applegate, Wednesday; William Whitaker, Danielle Shanks, Beverly Cheeks and Miss Kaylee Allen, Thursday; Rayna Nicole Burrus, Friday; and Effie (Toots) Wells, Saturday.

I hope all of you have very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Mark your calendars – the Baldwin Ruritan Club is sponsoring a Rabies Clinic along with Town and Country Veterinary Clinic. It will be on Saturday, April 20, from noon to 1 p.m. Vaccinations will be given by veterinarian Gary Short and will cost $5 each.  We ask that you bring your pet on a leash or in a pet carrier.

Well, I guess that’s all for now. Let me know if you hear any news. Just give me a call at 623-4579 or e-mail at pljones61@netzero.com.
