I have to brag on my church’s youth group. Their play, “The Bible Tells Me So,” at The Full Gospel Tabernacle on Sunday night was great.
It was funny, yet spiritually moving.
The work involved to get it together took a small army that was made up a few adults and the kids. The work was worth it all. Everyone who was there was blessed.
I wish it had been videoed for all to see. It proves the youth of today are standing up for their Christian beliefs. Thanks again for all the dedication.
Duane is retiring Friday from EKU. He choose to take the special early retirement offer. People ask if I have made my “honey-do list.” I have, but he keeps tearing it up.
He plans to do a lot of laundry, dishes, dusting and mopping. Oh, that was on my list; just forget it. I am sure he will stay busy. Hay season is not over yet. Congratulations, Duane, but I hope you don’t drive me crazy.
Kirksville has lost another one of our family with the passing of Jimmy Hampton. We will all miss him. Keep his family in your prayers.
Duane and I took part oin Kentucky Educational Television’s collectables show. It was so much fun. We will not know if we will be seen on TV when it airs. We had four interesting items but did not come away as millionaires.
