BALDWIN — How is everyone's week going? I hope everyone is having a great one.

Happy July 4th to everyone! I hope you have a safe and fun Fourth of July celebrating Independence Day.

We certainly have been having a lot of rain. With the rain there have been some storms and flooding. The grass and weeds are certainly growing, but it makes for bad hay weather.

The Madison County Farmers' Market is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays in the Lowe's parking lot from 8 a.m. to noon. Tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, onions, squash and other fresh, local produce is available at the market. Bread, jams, jellies, local honey, blueberries, blackberries and beef are also available there. Come on out and see us soon.

The farmers' market will not be on EKU's campus today due to the July 4th holiday, but we will return next Thursday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We look forward to seeing you.

I hope my friends, Joe and Vicki Stocker Reynolds, from Poosey Ridge, had a wonderful anniversary on Tuesday. They were married for 43 years. Happy belated anniversary, hope you have many more happy ones to come.

Happy anniversary wishes go out Saturday to two very dear friends, Artie and Diana Wells Ross. Artie and Diana will be celebrating their 56th anniversary.

Happy birthday wishes go out Saturday to Tammy Collins and Maggie Collins. I hope you both have very happy birthdays and many more to come. Happy birthday wishes go out next week to Effie Burrus, Sunday; Fran Spalding and Linda Curtis, Wednesday; and Jennifer Howard, Thursday. I hope you all have very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Well, I don't know of anything else going on, but if you hear any news, just give me a call at 623-4579.

May God bless you all.
