Cool weather means fall is in the air

Baldwin News

BALDWIN — Hello from Baldwin. How is everyone’s week going?

I hope everyone is having a great one.

The weather has been cooler this week. Fall is in the air. But, I think it has been more like winter myself.

I can’t believe it is already Nov. 8.

Where has the year gone?

It has passed so fast.

Happy birthday wishes go out next week to Robert Kelley and Charles David Bolton, Sunday; Sheyanne Winkler and Christy Cole, Tuesday; Audrey Day, Wednesday; Greg Foster, Thursday; and Loni Michelle Stamper and Jeff Kidd, Saturday.

I hope you have very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Happy anniversary wishes go out next week to Ronnie and Effie Burrus, Tuesday; and Ronnie and Connie Howe, Wednesday.

I hope these couples have very happy anniversaries and many more happy ones to come.

Baldwin 4-H Club met last Thursday night in the fellowship hall of Bethel Christian Church.

The children had their meeting, discussing old and new business, and later making Thanksgiving cards for veterans and making a craft project. They also enjoyed refreshments.

If you have a child who would like to attend the Baldwin 4-H meetings, come to our meetings on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m.

Be sure to attend the Christmas Gathering on Saturday at Kirksville’s Craft and Vendor Fair at Kirksville Community Center, Richmond. It will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

My sisters and I will be there with our crafts and such, along with other crafters and vendors. Be sure to come out and join us. We do hope to see you there.

Well, I guess that’s all for now. Let me know if you hear any news. Just give me a call at 623-4579 or e-mail at pljones61@netzero.com.
