Lizzie Berry Circle plans annual auction

UNION CITY — Union City Christian Church had a festival last Sunday afternoon with a total attendance of 326.

The Lizzie Berry Circle of the Christian Church will have the annual auction and supper Saturday, Nov. 10, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

A yard, craft and bake sale at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church is planned for Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch including coneys, hot dogs, chips and drink will be served. The church is located on Lexington Road north of Richmond.

Anniversary wishes go out to  Carroll and Bessie Sowers this Friday.

Belated birthday wishes to Hillary Tudor, Janie Kirby and Wayne Powell, today; Sue Allen, Tuesday; Charm Todd and Christa Lynn Murphey, Wednesday.
