Union City Homemakers chili dinner set Saturday

UNION CITY — This Saturday, Jan. 12, the Union City Homemakers will sponsor a chili dinner at the Ruritan Building. Serving will be from 3 to 7 p.m. There is no charge, but donations will be received to benefit the  fund to replace floor covering in the Ruritan building.

Chip Denief, minister at Union City Christian Church announces  current church programs. Youth meet at 6 p.m. on Sunday in the fellowship hall and they are known as “Radioactive Youth.” On Wednesday nights at 6:30, mid-week adult Bible Study will begin the book of Acts. At the same time several youth come together for “On the Mark Archery.”

Remember, the first Ruritan meeting of the year will be Monday, Jan. 21, at 7 p.m. More Ruritan information will be published next week.
