Tony Gore to sing at Full Gospel Tabernacle

Kirksville News

Kirksville — Hello everyone. This rain sure did mess up the Easter egg hunt at the Carpenters this past Sunday. So they are going to try it again this Sunday. They did not want to ruin those pretty white shoes and the Easter clothing with a muddy yard. They hope the family and kids understood.

This Sunday at 6 p.m., Tony Gore will be at Full Gospel Tabernacle for a night of wonderful singing. There will be plenty of seating. Hopefully, the rain will stop for the egg hunt as well as for the singing.

Full Gospel Tabernacle has plans of getting its extended parking lot in shape very soon. The early cold weather and snow stopped production last fall and now the rain has halted an early start this spring. Hopefully, things will clear up soon.

There was another accident last week again on Hwy. 1295. This was the third one recently. These tragedies make me take note of the traffic on this road. Excessive speed is a proble,. I travel on this road all the time, and I take more notice of my speed now.

Being so familiar with this road, it is easy to exceed 55 mph. I hope everyone takes note of their speed and slows down. I would like to have a big flashing sign, out for all those who travel though my wonderful community, saying my loved ones travel on this road, so slow done. I do not want one of my family members to become the next tragedy.

I love this time of the year because eggs really do go down in price during the Easter season. I have some new recipes on how to fix eggs besides the coloring part.

Skeptics can come to the Easter Eggstravaganza in Richmond’s Irvine-McDowell Park on Saturday to see for themselves. However, the bunny still doesn’t fly in bad weather. But on Monday, temperatures in the 60s with partly cloudy skies were predicted for Saturday.
