Union City Ruritan having pancake breakfast Saturday

RICHMOND — You are invited to the pancake breakfast this Saturday at Union City Ruritan. Serving will begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 9 a.m. Donations are accepted in place of a set amount for the meal. There will be an added bonus this time. Biscuits and gravy will also be available.

Liberty Chapel on Three Forks Road will have a Third Sunday Singing this Sunday at 6 p.m. The featured group for this event will be The Praise Singers from Irvine. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Remember, Tuesday is the day for Union City Ruritan Community Blood Drive. You may donate blood between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. There will be a drawing for Walmart gift cards. For more information go to the web site: kybloodcenter.org <http://kybloodcenter.org> .

Union City Ruritan will be replacing windows in the building. To facilitate this, donations are being taken to have windows done in memory or in honor of some one. Several windows are already taken and the suggested amount is $25 or more. If you want to participate, contact Robert Murphy at 623-9461 for details.

Union City Christian Church will have the annual Thanksgiving Meal following Sunday morning service Nov. 18. There will be no evening services that day.

Flatwoods Christian Church at Waco will have the annual Thanksgiving service Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. Scott Mandl who made a recent mission trip to Haiti will give a report on his trip and the work of Choubert Remy who leads a church, elementary school and bible institute a few miles north east of Port-au-Prince. An offering will be taken to benefit Haiti Christian Mission.
