Altrusa Club chili supper planned

Hello from Baldwin.
How is everyone’s week going? I hope that everyone is having a great one. How do you like this cool weather that we are having? I wish it was a little warmer, but I guess it is the time of year for it to be cooler, isn’t it?
Did you have a good Halloween? I had 20 trick-or-treaters Saturday night. I just love seeing what they come dressed as. I do hope that everyone had a happy and safe Halloween.
Happy belated birthday wishes go out to Amy McCord Allen, yesterday. I hope you had a great birthday Amy and many more happy ones to come. Happy birthday wishes go out next week to Armon Sanders and Curtis Tyler Morris, Sunday; Melvin Masters and Crystal Renfro, Monday; Randall Webb, Brian Jones and Angela Jones, Tuesday; Robert Kelley and Charles David Bolton, Wednesday; Pete Harrison and Christy Cole, Friday; and Audrey Day, Saturday. I hope that you all have very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.
Happy anniversary wishes go out next week to Donnie and Angie Morris, Thursday; Ronnie and Effie Burrus, Friday; and Ronnie and Connie Howe, Saturday. I hope that these couples have very happy anniversaries and many more happy ones to come.
On Dec. 4, the Altrusa Club will be having its chili supper at the Fellowship Hall of the First Christian Church on the corner of Main and Lancaster Avenue. They will be serving chili from 5 to 7 p.m. For $5, you will get a hot bowl of chili, a drink and dessert. Children 5 and under eat free.
My sisters and I and other crafters will be set up with our crafts at the chili supper, so before you go to the Richmond City Christmas Parade, stop in and get you a hot bowl of chili to warm you up and look at the crafts. We hope to see you there.
