Flatwoods Christian Church at Waco will have vacation Bible school Sunday through Friday at 6 p.m. Children ages 3 and older are welcome. “Studio Go” is the theme. A community Fish Fry will be conducted on Friday, July 17, beginning at 4 p.m. For information or to register a child, call 369-5454.
The Madison County Republican Women’s annual potluck dinner will be July 10, 6 p.m. at Madison County Fairgrounds on Irvine Road. Tickets at the door are $10. Children 10 and under are admitted for $5. Food prepared by club members. Steve Robertson, chairman of Kentucky Republican Party, will be featured speaker for the event. An auction will be conducted, with Rep. Lonnie Napier as auctioneer. Everyone is welcome.
