About 1,200 local elementary students took a break from the classroom and headed to the woods Tuesday for “A Walk with the Arts.” The second annual arts education event presented by the Berea Arts Council, Kentucky Arts Council, Berea Tourism Commission and Tater Knob Pottery, featured 12 master artists demonstrating their craft at Indian Fort Theater.

first draft of the city’s 2008-09 fiscal year budget of $23,834,080 was revealed Tuesday by Richmond City Manager David Evans, who said the amount was about an 8-percent increase.
