• The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you are not in your precinct line by 6 p.m. you will not be able to vote. High-volume voting times are 6 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 11 a.m.-1 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Preparation began months ago for this year’s general election, Barger said..

Interested parties are welcome to watch the results as they come in at the courthouse, 101 W. Main St., after 6 p.m., Barger said. Returns also may be viewed online at www.madisoncounty.ky.us under the county clerk link; on cable television on Madison County Public Access Channel 46.
