Dustin Brumbaugh will become human resources director for Madison County Schools and begin his duties on July 1.
Brumbaugh has served as the principal at Kirksville Elementary for the past four years. Prior to becoming principal, Brumbaugh was a teacher at Clark-Moores Middle School.
He will be taking the place of assistant superintendent for human resources Kevin Hub, who will be replacing Marvin Welch, assistant superintendent and chief operations officer. Welch is retiring effective June 30.
“We are excited to have Mr. Brumbaugh joining us at Central Office,” said Superintendent Tommy Floyd. “He has been a valuable part of the district leadership team as a principal and we look forward to having him join the district administrative team.”
