Berea police charge two women with meth making
Two women were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine Thursday after Berea Police said they discovered an operational meth lab in a Mary Street apartment.
When officers arrived to investigate the report of a possible meth lab, they detected the odor of ammonia coming from the dwelling, the police report stated.
Potted marijuana plant found on Summit Street porch
An officer investigating a drug complaint Sunday afternoon on Summit Street cited a woman for several offenses after first finding a potted marijuana plant growing on her front porch, according to a Richmond Police report.
At approximately 1:53 p.m., an officer approached the residence of Kristian Rigsby, 23, and noticed a small marijuana plant growing on the porch, according to the report.
Three women charged with stealing from three stores
After locating a vehicle that reportedly fled from Wal-Mart with a cart full of stolen items Wednesday, Richmond Police detained three women and recovered about $1,150 in merchandise taken from three stores.
Around 5 p.m., a Richmond safety officer alerted police that multiple individuals had pushed a cart full of merchandise from Wal-Mart without paying and then fled in a vehicle.
Escapee turns himself in
The Richmond man who went on the run May 23 from the Madison County Detention Center turned himself in early Friday morning.
Roger Million, 24, was very apologetic when he returned to the jail, as were his grandparents, who came with him, said Madison County Jailer Doug Thomas.
