No extra jail time for parents on prostitution charge
Anthony and Kathy Hart, two Madison County residents who pleaded guilty May 21 to prostituting their daughters, won’t be seeing any extra time in jail.
Both parents, who served time in jail while their charges were pending, were sentenced to probation Thursday in Madison Circuit Court.
RPD arrests three on drug charges

Fake credit cards used for $1,426 in transactions
Richmond Police are searching for two women who used fraudulent credit cards for $1,426 in transactions at the Children’s Place and Rue 21 in Richmond Centre.
An officer was dispatched 7:30 p.m. Saturday to Rue 21 to investigate, according to a news release from Richmond Police.
One of the women bought two $200 gift cards, and the other bought one $200 gift card and two dresses, both with credit cards, a store employee told police.
Post 7 issues almost 1,500 citations in June
During the month of June, troopers from Kentucky State Police Post 7 in Richmond issued 1,486 citations and made 210 criminal arrests.
Detectives and troopers also investigated 1,128 complaints, opened 82 criminal cases, and made 210 criminal arrests.
Troopers arrested 29 people on charges of driving under the influence and investigated 57 traffic collisions.
Driver charged with drug possession after traffic stop
Berea Police arrested a man on drug charges after they reported finding a two types of pills in his possession after a June 24 traffic stop.
After stopping a car driven by Tyler Dehorty, 22, on Brenwood Drive for a minor traffic violation, police obtained consent to search the vehicle, the report stated.
