Handguns reported stolen from vehicles

RICHMOND — Two Richmond residents have reported the theft of handguns from their vehicles this week.

In the first theft, a resident in the 1000 block of Blackwell Court reported Tuesday that a silver Titan .25 caliber pistol with black grips, worth $200, had been stolen from his parked vehicle during the night.

There were no signs of forced entry, according to the RPD.

In the second report, a resident in the 400 block of Clay Drive reported Wednesday that a Taurus .38 caliber pistol, worth $215, had been taken from his parked vehicle overnight, and there also was no sign of forced entry, the RPD reported.
