RICHMOND — Boggs Lane woman arrested for parole violation

In November 2009, Crystal Ashcraft, now 33, of Boggs Lane, was convicted in the Madison Circuit Court of first-degree facilitation of robbery and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. She was sentenced to five years imprisonment on each charge with all but one of the years to run concurrent, according to the RPD report.

In January 2011, Ashcraft was paroled and almost two years later, a parole violation warrant was issued for her arrest. According to the RPD statement, she violated several conditions of her parole, including absconding parole supervision and failure to report to her parole office as directed.

In addition to the parole violation warrant, an arrest warrant from the Madison Family Court was served Ashcraft, charging her with failure to appear and failure to pay child support.

Ashcraft remains at the detention center and must pay $4,000 in child support, but her parole violation is ineligible for a bond, according to jail records.

Anyone with information regarding the above listed cases is asked to contact the Richmond Police Department at 859-623-1162.
