A Cincinnati man was arrested Tuesday after Richmond police reported finding him lying in the front seat of a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
An officer was sent to the Holiday Inn Express, Colby Taylor Drive, at 3:13 p.m. to investigate a complaint about a man in a vehicle who was refusing to leave the premises, according to a Richmond police report.
When the officer arrived, he reported finding 29-year-old Dorian K. Daniels lying prone in the front seat of a vehicle. A check of the vehicle revealed that it had been reported stolen by the Cincinnati Police Department.
Daniels was charged with receiving stolen property (under $10,000) and taken to the Madison County Detention Center. The vehicle was impounded.
