Richmond police investigating recent thefts

RICHMOND — According to a Richmond Police Department news release, officers are investigating these recently reported thefts.


A representative of Ball Homes reported two 30-foot sections of computer pipe worth $400 was cut from the attic of a home under construction on Mitford Court during the past week.


A representative of an East Ridge Plaza business on Jason Drive reported a cast-iron storm drain grate valued at $250 was stolen from the parking lot overnight.


A North Keeneland Drive resident reported several items worth $1,975 were stolen form his residence during the past three weeks. According to the report, a Sony 46-inch LCD television, an Xbox 360 gaming system with four games, 10 PlayStation 3 video games, 30 DVDs, 3 Blu Ray DVDs, a Star Trek Blu Ray movie set, a 19-inch computer monitor and a set of Razer headphones were missing from the home.
