Woman charged with stealing prescription meds

RICHMOND — A Foxhaven Drive woman was arrested Wednesday in connection with the theft of controlled substances.

Richmond police allege that Robin Harrison, a.k.a. Robin Horn, 43, took four bottles of prescription medicine, three of which were controlled substances, from a Miller Drive residence during the evening of Jan. 6.

A warrant was issued for her arrest Jan. 10, and she was taken into custody Wednesday at McDonald’s, 864 Eastern Bypass.



A resident in the 300 block of Jason Drive reported that several items were stolen from his parked and unlocked vehicle during the night. The following items were reported missing: a pair of Nike Trainer Series 5 custom athletic shoes, size 10.5; a bottle of Calvin Klein cologne; and a Garmin GPS unit.  Estimated loss is $300.


A resident in the 600 block of Hampton Way reported that several items had been stolen from his vehicle during the previous day. There were no signs of forced entry. The following items were reported missing: an Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer in a backpack; a vehicle stereo system that includes two large amplifiers, two smaller subwoofers, and a carpeted speaker box with a speaker.  Estimated loss is $3,800.
