Four charged with kidnapping

Three additionally face drug charges

RICHMOND — Richmond Police early Monday morning charged four men in the kidnapping of a woman, according to an RPD news release.

James C. Fleming, 32 Aqueduct Drive, Antwon Brown, 30 address unknown, Marcus Rogers, 24, address unknown. and David West, 23, of Louisville, were arrested after a complainant reported to police that he believed an adult female relative was being held against her will in a vehicle late Sunday.

The complainant gave officers a description of the vehicle and a patrol officer located and stopped it at Interstate 75’s Exit 90 on ramp about 2:20 a.m., the release stated.

They were additionally charged with second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Rogers was further charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of marijuana after 10 small baggies of methamphetamine and a bag of marijuana were found on his person at the jail, the report added.

All four men were lodged in the Madison County Detention Center, where they remained Monday afternoon, according to the jail’s online records.

The kidnapping investigation continues, according RPD Chief Larry Brock.
