A Detroit man was arrested Friday on drug trafficking charges after police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence.
Robert C. Cobb Jr., 44, was charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin and oxycodone), possession of marijuana, fourth-degree assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers were sent to the 1000 block of Brandy Lane after receiving a report about a domestic dispute, according to the RPD.
Police developed information indicating that Cobb was involved in drug trafficking and that narcotics were in the apartment, the report stated.
The officers obtained a search warrant for the home and recovered approximately 7 ounces of heroin, 136 ocycodone pills, about 5 grams of marijuana, three digital scales, various items of drug-trafficking paraphernalia and more than $20,000.
Cobb was arrested and taken to the Madison County Detention Center.
