Thefts, burglaries reported to Richmond police

RICHMOND —

Richmond police are investigating these thefts and burglaries reported since Thursday.



Saturday

• A resident in the 300 block of Dylan Court reported that her unlocked vehicle was unlawfully entered during the night and several items were stolen. Listed as missing were: a small brown and pink Coach purse; a vapor stick; a duffle bag containing ladies’ clothing; and a Nextar GPS unit. Estimated loss is $280.

• A resident in the 100 block of McWhorter Court reported that his vehicle was broken into during the night and a Pioneer stereo/CD player was stolen. Entry was gained by breaking the front passenger door window. Estimated loss: $550.



Thursday

• A resident in the 300 block of Bowerwood Drive reported that a purple Vera Bradley backpack was stolen from her unlocked vehicle during the morning hours. The backpack contained a psychology and a nursing textbook. Estimated loss: $140.
