“Officers were finally able to restrain and calm Coldiron before transporting him to the MCDC,” the report stated. He remained in the detention center Monday afternoon.
Burglaries & thefts
• Two residents in the 300 block of Timothy Way reported that items had been stolen from their vehicles overnight. There were no signs of forced entry into either vehicle. Reported stolen were: two Panasonic portable DVD players (from headrests) and a Garmin GPS unit. Estimated loss: $330.
• A resident in the 100 block of Alycia Drive reported that his apartment was broken into sometime the previous day and several items were stolen. Entry was gained by breaking the front door glass. Reported missing were: a black Xbox 360 with two controllers; a Bushmaster .223 caliber rifle, model XM-90, with bi-pod; a Remington 12-gauge shotgun, model 870 Express Magnum; a Ruger .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle, model 10/22; and a U.S. Marine Corps Mameluke Sword and sheath. Estimated loss: $2,975.
• A resident in the 200 block of Saint George Street reported that his truck had been broken into during the night and several tools were stolen. Entry was gained to the bed of the truck by forcing open the door to a mounted camper shell. Reported stolen were: a Porter Cable drill; a Porter Cable sawzall; Porter Cable batteries; a black and gray Super Buddy satellite meter; and a Porter Cable impact drill. Estimated loss: $1,070.
